Imagine experiencing a birth where you feel beautiful - powerful, strong, and in control. Imagine going into your labor with confidence. Imagine looking back on your the birth of your baby with joy, delight, and satisfaction. Imagine sharing your story with passion and encouraging other women to experience the same! This doesn't have to be simply wishful thinking - it can become your reality! I know from personal experience!

I am a registered nurse, a certified doula, and a photographer. With six years experience in a labor and delivery unit, I saw up close and personal the effects of fear, lack of education, and lack of preparation for childbirth. Laboring women would come in with inaccurate expectations and ill-prepared to handle the marathon that they were about to run.

I have been passionate about birth for as long as I can remember! I am a mother of six boys, and I have experienced six unique, beautiful, peaceful and enjoyable births! I've discovered that birth is a whole-person experience, and in order to have the birth you've always dreamed, you have to prepare mind, body, and soul!
