About the event
This is a certification workshop to become a birth doula.
We will cover the pregnancy, labor, and birth process, comfort measures, emotional support and presence, integrating with the team, how to educate and advocate, and above all the health of yourself as a doula. I focus heavily on grounding presence in the birth space and excellent preparation for and recovery from the birth experiences that you support. We also spend time on business branding, development, marketing, and finances. Join us if you'd like to become a superior doula in your area!
After attending the workshop, you have 24 months to complete your other requirements to become a full-fledged certified doula. Your certification is good for two years and renewable thereafter with 20 CEUs and a certification renewal fee.
